Spiral mixers get their name from the spiral shape of the agitators. The agitator stays fixed in position while the mixing bowl revolves around it. The unique ability to gently create coordinated movement of the bowl and agitator imitate and duplicate traditional hand kneading rolling motions, which keeps dough cool while mixing for consistent texture quality. Dough does not over develop and produces precision blends in far less time as a comparable planetary mixer! This versatile mixer makes a variety of dough from bagels to pizza. Our spiral mixer machines are dual motor driven with the mixing bowl and agitator being powered separately. These dedicated power sources eliminate torque and griping problems not only during initial mixing stages but also provide a consistent mixing speed throughout the process. Specially designed speed modification offers high torque motion without sacrificing versatility at higher speeds. The American Eagle Food Machinery® AE-125K is great addition to the spiral mixer product line. At the 250 quart capacity, this high capacity spiral mixer is specifically designed for operations that are looking to create large amounts of the same type of dough for many of their different products. Pizzerias and pastry shops would find the spiral mixer very useful for their operations. The word is getting out that the spiral mixer is a better dough mixer, at a better price point. With the ability to mimic the kneading motion of creating handmade dough, the AE-125K mixes dough in about half the time as a high end planetary mixer, all while keeping the dough cool during the mixing process. Like most other American Eagle Food Machinery® Spiral Mixers, the AE-125K is a uni-mold cast iron design with a heat treated enamel coating. This mixer will not rust or corrode at all within the moist environment of a kitchen. The dual motor system is essential for driving both the agitating shaft as well as the bowl at the same time. Both the agitating shaft and the mixing bowl are designed with special grip enhancing fibers embedded on the V-belt drive. This provides superior grip and durability against torque at startup. American Eagle Food Machinery® has even accounted for that as well with their built in startup relay system that slowly allows the motors to engage and begin turning their agitator and bowl.

Importantly, we can't stress enough that the machine is a 220V/60Hz/3Ph machine. Before ordering or installing, please verify with an electrician or licensed contractor that you have the correct electrical connection in your space. You can choose to install hardwired to your power line or using a plug in accordance to your local electrical codes and standards.

You have to see the inside of the machine to believe it. There was a time we could only find spiral mixers built for quality in Germany. We like the quality of the electronic components as well as the belt drive. There are two 30 minute analog timers or 30 minute digital timer and the system is designed to last. The cast iron body has a solid feel and the safety guard is easy to wipe down.
