Save time and labor! This plate is ideal for operators looking to make long julienne cuts. If you aren't picky about precise, square cuts this plate is the best option. You save money by not having to buy both top and bottom disks. It can accomodate a variety of vegetables and fruits. Use it on on squash, cantaloupe, apples...the possibilities are endless. It is the best option for those looking to quickly and continuously prep foods for pizza topping, stir fry, etc. Unlike the french fry cut, the cuts are not pressed into predefined square ends. This plate is available for purchase separately and not included standard with the AE-VC30 machine. For thinner options more similar to "noodles" or "spaghetti" choose the smaller 2.5mm. For larger cuts similar to small sticks, choose the 10mm option.
