I got the 1/4" and sometimes pieces will get stuck on the ends. If I put it in closer to the back and carefully make sure the chicken is going through the blades, the meat doesn't get stuck as easily, spraying some oil on the blades also helps."

Their exceptional reliability and attractive, compact designs make them ideal for open commercial kitchens, front end meat operations, or a home counter top. Heavy duty design means no plastic gears or shafts. Use the vegetable cutter to process everything from carrots and cucumbers to potatoes, onions, and cheese. Efficiently shred, cut, or slice in seconds instead of manually cutting and slicing! Easily disassembled for cleaning and maintenance. Unique drive shaft design is mounted on ball bearings for smooth operation and specially designed for high volume processing in a commercial kitchen. This machine is perfectly great for quickly preparing hash browns, salads, coleslaw, block cheese, or any vegetables for any dish. Top chute measures approximately 2.5 inch diameter to accommodate long vegetables such as cucumbers and carrots. Bottom hopper measures approximately 6.5 inch by 5.5 inch to accommodate whole vegetables or block cheese. Housing and disk holder are constructed of durable cast aluminum. Each disk selection is stainless steel. Also includes a plastic food pusher. This is a vegetable cutter attachment that has been verified to work with all American Eagle Food Machinery® 1.5HP motors and planetary mixers. The attachment is designed for use with a standard #12 hub so may be compatible with equipment from other manufacturers. Covered by a 90 day refurbished limited manufacturer warranty. ETL Certified to NSF/ANSI #8, CSA, CE Standards. Do not use the motor in reverse mode when using the vegetable cutter!

This item has been refurbished to the same condition as a new product by the manufacturer. The item was either never used or weared parts were replaced by new parts. The item may have some minor cosmetic blemishes or shipping damages which was repaired. All orignal components and newly replaced weared parts have been tested and verified to work. Any factory refurbished equipment carries a warranty period of 90 days parts, 45 days labor from the manufacturer.
